ABOUT THE SHOP
Islamic artists, prohibited from creating representations of humans around holy places turned to geometry as an artform. Simple shapes were applied in repeating patterns to capture the complexity of the world around us, at the same time, turning our gaze inward. Palace Gate Pins is our ode to the bold, yet understated aesthetic of Islamic design and how timeless, and boundless this art is.
